Where the Mask Ends episode 8 recap: Making Lu Zhuo jealous

In short

A Chou turns Lu Zhuo's suspicion back on him, pretends to fall for his friend, and goads him into making her the Lu family's official senior wife. Then Han Liao takes her family.

What happens in episode 8

Han Liao realizes he kidnapped Jun Dai, and Lady Shou'an, the Emperor's former wet nurse, takes her home. Lady Shou'an learns what her granddaughter did and slaps her.

Lu Zhuo questions how a noble lady knows a commoners' nuo dance. A Chou turns it around: she wore herself out for his family, and all he does is suspect her. She throws him out of the room.

She then starts paying attention to Qi Zhongkai, and tells Lu Zhuo she likes him. Lu Zhuo practices sword at dawn after a sleepless night, and arranges for her to take part in the ancestral rites, which makes her the Lu family's senior wife. That's what she wanted.

After the rites she hears her brother's voice. Han Liao has taken her family, and his messenger's red string proves it.
